We are subscriber of GMA Pinoy TV here in Dubai for 3 years now. But still, I am looking forward (everyday) of what’s the latest program that the rival network, ABS CBN is offering. Thanks, there is Pinoy Channel TV wherein I can catch almost all the programs that I missed.
Yesterday, I watched the Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) 4th Gala Night. A reality based TV program honing the talents of individuals especially on singing. I was surprised of the talents of these contestants that surely follow the footsteps of the 1st Pinoy Dream Academy grand winner Yeng Constantino who is doing very well in the showbiz industry.
The format of yesterday’s gala night was a duet. Meaning they will be competing as a duo and will be judge accordingly. No question that apple and ian was the weakest contender of the night. It was very obvious that they were very nervous, out tuned, and has a very less connection to each other and to the audience while performing.
On the other hand, the performance of the other contestants was simply amazing. Even the jurors Gerard Salonga, Loue Ocampo and Jaimie Rivera gave their approval on very high notes. These judges are the best that the Philippine music industry can offer. I was like watching high school musical from the performance of Christain and May; and watching lovers singing from the performance of Sen and Joy. And it’s like watching a concert when I saw the duets of Bugoy.
Congratulations to all the staff and crew of Pinoy Dream Academy most especially to Toni Gonzaga and Billy Crawford. They are very spontaneous and very effective hosts. The show is very wonderful and entertaining!
